My learning Style

Now I'd say that I was more a Kinesthetic learner, because I prefer trying out new software and playing around with it getting to learn it myself. Though I do like to hear and see how to do certain things that I can't grasp myself, but I would also have to be still testing/trying out what the tutor/person was explaining to me or I wouldn't be able to grasp it.

And according to one test I took online,

I am an 'Accommodator'
Which is in the Kinesthetic learning style group. It means I learn by trial and error (hands on).
Which I would say is true, because there's no better way than to learn by your mistakes and it's useful to see for yourself why somethings not working/going as you want it to rather than someone else show you sometimes. Sometimes it's better to be shown your mistakes if you still think you've not done it wrong, that way you can be shown from a neutral standpoint where you went wrong and what it is you need to do to correct it. Which is always helpful in certain situations and circumstances.

I remember I always got frustrated using Dreamweaver and Cinema 4D and would always think the programs were just playing up when something didn't work the way I wanted them to, but having somebody with greater knowledge about the programs than me explain what it is I did wrong and how to go about correcting it, made me intake all that far better than trial and error and getting annoyed at been unable to fix what's wrong.

With me personally, becasue of my Tourettes and the ways it can distract me in lesson, I do find sometimes if my tourettes is bad on the day, that been shown what to do and how to do it is much more efficient than doing myself, because Tourettes can be a very big distraction when trying to listen to a lecture. This has hampered me in the past and I have needed one on one lessons with my old tutors to understand things that I had missed in the lesson.

So I guess I'm more hands on, but like to hear and see vocalized and physical demonstrations to get a better understanding of a certain program/application sometimes.
